I would like to include arrows (up and down) in my text while using the ALB.

For example, a sentence might read: “Prices are rising in all parts of Europe <UP ARROW>”

In the non ALB standard text editor I can just copy an arrow from a word processing program and paste it there, but in ALB that does not work.

Is there another way to get at this besides clicking on the “omega” symbol and inserting the ASCII arrows, which look very 1992?

    Thanks!!

    Hey Rob!

    Sorry for the late reply!

Please edit your Text Block element and click on the magic wand to add icon – http://i.imgur.com/f7hxHGd.png :)

Thanks Yigit! And is it possible to have the icons / arrows be different colors? I would like to make the up arrow green and the down arrow red.

I ended up creating an image that I pasted on this page:

It’s the dashboard about halfway down. But I may use your technique in next month’s report if I can change colors of arrows.

    Thanks!!!

    Hi,

sure, following Yigit’s suggestion, you would use those shortcodes:

    [av_font_icon icon='ue88a' font='entypo-fontello' style='' caption='' link='' linktarget='' size='40px' position='left' color='#b02b2c' custom_class='' admin_preview_bg=''][/av_font_icon]

    [av_font_icon icon='ue887' font='entypo-fontello' style='' caption='' link='' linktarget='' size='40px' position='left' color='#83a846' custom_class='' admin_preview_bg=''][/av_font_icon]

    Adjust the colors as needed.

    Best regards,
    Andy

Very cool, thanks Andy!! I never would have figured that out on my own.
