    Hi there,

I’ve created a 360º-VR-video for my client which I want to use as a background video for his website.
On my laptop it displays the video but the 360º-VR is not working.
On my phone I see the youtube play-button which I can’t select.

Are there any solutions for this issue?

    Thanks in advance.

    Kind Regards,

    Hey outlinesnl,

As far as I know there is no functions like that built in to Youtube, videos are 2 dimensional. Are you using any plugins or custom code to achieve what you are looking to achieve? Please try to explain a bit further. Autoplay of videos on mobile devices is disable due to manufacturer limitations.

    Best regards,
    Rikard

    Hi Rikard,

    Thanks for your reply.
Here the link from the 360-VR-video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HZeJlWQlrVE
You can try it on your phone and move it around yourself or view it on your desktop and use your mouse to drag the movie.
My intention is to use that functionality in the background of the site.

    Thanks again.

    Kind regards,

    Hi Jeroen,

Wow, that is cool. I’ve never seen that before. The reason why you are not getting those control is because you are using the video as a background in a Color Section, controls won’t be displayed when you do that. If you add the video with the Video element instead I think it should work. You could also try to add an icon to the section telling your visitors to click here to see the 360 degree version and then display the video in a lightbox.

    Best regards,
    Rikard
