Hi, I purchased CleanCut from Themeforest and am having a hard time figuring out how to get my local host wordpress to recognize it. I downloaded CleanCut to wp-content/themes on my C drive. In wordpress, I went to Appearance > Themes > Install Themes - selected the CleanCut .zip file but wordpress says "are you sure you want to do this?" then "please try again"

So, I unzipped all the files so it's same as the default theme ( twentyten ) but I can't figure out how to get my wordpress to realize it's there.

any ideas? Thanks for your help.

Hey,
please unzip the package you got from themeforest.net ONE time. You should get a folder which contains PSDs, Docs and another zip file (which is called cleancut.zip. This zip file is the right file. Go to your wordpress admin panel and navigate to Appearance > Themes. Then select the cleancut.zip file, upload & install it. You can also unpack this zip file and upload the resulting folder via ftp to wp-content/themes.

I tried that but I'm not getting the cleancut.zip file after I unzip the one time, I'm getting html.zip, psd.zip, and a domentation_html file folder that contains an assets file folder(with more file folders in it), index, and a .ds_store file.That's it

Maybe you bought the hrml version instead of the wp version? There're two versions - the wordpress version: http://themeforest.net/item/cleancut-business-and-portfolio-wordpress-theme/109677 and the html version: http://themeforest.net/item/cleancut-5-in-1-business-and-portfolio-template/99235 . If you'd like to use CleanCut with WordPress you need to buy/use the first version. The second version contains the standalone html files only (without wordpress/cms/php, etc. code). Please contact the themeforest/envato support team: http://themeforest.net/support and ask them for an item exchange.
