The homepage URL you provided is the same as the link when you click on the home link - they both point to http://voteforlogo.com/ - are you finding that you get a different page on the homepage link? If so, please clear your cache and try again.
To remove the home icon and use text for the homepage link, add this to the end of your style.css file:
#nav #home, .nav #home {
background: none;
width: auto;
text-indent: 0;
