    Hello, I’ve asked you for help concerning translation 2 weeks ago…

    I was busy so only tried it today.

    I’ve opened the french translation file in Poeit it was ok.

    I’ve opened my FTP and saw that it allready was in the lang folder

    I’ve tried to delete all the other translations in the FTP and change de french.mo and .po to default.mo and .po but it didnt work…

    My question is : How do i activate the french version? or where do i activate it?

    Do i have to change a source code?

    Thank a lot ! :)

    Have a good day !

    I think you’ll have to change a line (72) in your wp-config.php. Mine is in Norwegian so the line is set like this:

    define(‘WPLANG’, ‘nb_NO’);

    I guess your should be:

    define(‘WPLANG’, ‘fr_FR’);

    Hope that helps:-)

    Hi!

    Make sure that you’re using the french wp version: http://fr.wordpress.org/

    Best regards,

    Thanks for your answers !

    Unfortunately my Wp-config was allready set to fr_FR and i’m allready using the french wp Version…

    Maybe i should be more precise ? to you need more information?

    my problem is for example in a single portfolio page, at the bottom its written “Related Entries” and thats where i’d like the translation to come… and the “next” or “previous” are also in english…

    Hope you can help me :)

    Thanks again in advance!

    Hi,

    On your includes folder, open related-posts.php and find this code.

    $output .= "<h5 class='related_title'>".__('Related Entries', 'avia_framework')."</h5>";

    You can change the Related Entries text from there. To change the next and previous, open functions.php and find this code

    if(!function_exists('avia_post_nav'))
    {
    function avia_post_nav()
    {
    $output = "";
    ob_start();
    ?>
    <div class='post_nav_container stretch_full'>
    <div class='post_nav'>
    <div class='previous_post_link_align'>
    <?php previous_post_link('<span class="previous_post_link">&larr; %link </span><span class="post_link_text">'.__('(previous entry)','avia_framework'))."</span>"; ?>
    </div>
    <div class='next_post_link_align'>
    <?php next_post_link('<span class="next_post_link"><span class="post_link_text">'.__('(next entry)','avia_framework').'</span> %link &rarr;</span>'); ?>
    </div>
    </div> <!-- end navigation -->
    </div>
    <?php

    $output = ob_get_clean();
    return $output;
    }
    }

    Regards,

    Ismael
