How to change featured image size in category pages?

Hi!

Featured image in category pages is stretched to width of the page, which isn't looking good at all. How I change that? Also, another topic of mine is unanswered...

In author archives 1st page it is showing it like I would like to in all category/date/etc archives. But when going to 2nd page of author archives, it shows again huge stretched featured image. How do I change this?

And same thing with date archives - 1st page is good, but 2nd and so on is not. In category pages it's "wrong" in every page.
