for eg take a look at this

how can i change the widgets, I am not sure how I did but not able to recollect
i want to remove categories and archvies and add new ones

Hi pgoutam,

Go to wordpress Appearance>Widgets and you can modify the widget areas Displayed Everywhere left/right or Sidebar Blog left/right. If they have no widgets, add some and that will overwrite the default ones or if they have the widgets you see on that page you can then remove those.
