Hi, today I recognized on my mobile device (iPhone 4) that the site was not able to load the start page. Loading within a WLAN area seems to work fine. What tool can I use to check the view on mobile devices?

    Thank you.

    Hi Frank,

Outside of adjusting your browser width on a desktop computer or testing on individual devices I don’t know of any good reliable testing tools.

I’ll tag the rest of the support crew to see if anyone else has a suggestion.

    Regards,

    Frank,

Devin is correct. There are just too many very different mobile devices out there powered by lots of different mobile operating systems, too many factors in play to create an emulator capable of faithfully reproducing the internal functionality of various mobile devices enough to fully mimicking their displays. Perhaps when HTML5 becomes standardized finally sometime next year, there will be more adherence to how certain tags and css styling must be interpreted. Today unfortunately, there are no valid and reliable tools to test how any specific mobile device interprets a webpage outside of actually using the device in question.

    THanks,

    Nick
