    Hi!

Is there a way to create a client area on our website?

We are an animation studio and we want to give access to our client project based. Like if we a client “MACRO” and we have there 2 projects at a time so what we need is to give theme access through a link through which they can put there ID and password and the can see work in progress. At the same time they can comment, upload images or videos. So, its gonna be easy for us to communicate with our client without bothering to use other website for data exchange and discussion.

    Thanks

    Hi,

yes, basically you can use a membership plugin like: WP-Member or S2 Member to restrict the access to certain areas (pages/posts, etc.) of your website.

Actually what you provided seems really nice but a bit too complex. What I was looking for was kind of like http://wordpress.org/support/topic/how-to-a-simple-client-portal

Just sharing with you in case anyone else is facing the same issue.

Anyway big thanks for your support as always :)
