I am trying to figure out if there is a way to set up a Product Categories slider similar to the Products slider that is used on the demo site homepage. Basically, I just want the Categories to be displayed instead of individual products. Does this theme support such a thing?

I'm also trying to achieve to get the product categories on the homepage. If you then select a category all the products belonging to that category will appear.

You can use the dynamic template builder for this task. Go to Abundance > Template Builder and create a new template (or edit an existing one). Select the "Products" element and click on the small arrow on the right side to expand the option field. Search for the "Shop Slider Row" option and select "Yes".

In woocommerce setting, change the "Sales" page to another page (which is not your front page) or do not select at all.
Your dynamic template will be shown.
Dynamic template will not be shown if you rewrite it by woocommerce setting!
You can add products (from categories) to your home page, (still) we are not able to add categories on it.Posted 1 year ago #
