How to exclude categories from Levitation theme side bar titled "Latest News"

how would I exclude certain categories from showing up in the latest news sidebar in the levitation themes homepage?

Hi,

I was able to do this under the Levitation Options>Blog Options. Just exclude the categories there.

That works well for the Latest News on the home page, but my site is still listing all categories in the sidebar of the blog page. Any tips on how to fix that?

You can use plugins like: http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/extended-categories-widget/ which offer many customization options.
