Hello, I need to export my website and I would like to save the theme settings in a “dummy data” file with all options and page templates…

    Is that possible ?

    You can use this plugin

Please create a backup of your theme files and database.

Ok thanks, I’m using the very good Backup Buddy for that but what if I only want to save theme settings and not all the websites with databases, etc… ?

    Hi ganjou,

I’m not sure what you mean. All wordpress data is saved in the wordpress database. You can save posts/pages/custom post types as an xml file by exporting that in the WordPress Tools>Export section but the theme options are in the wp_options table.

Anything specific to making the database backup would be dependent on that specific plugin and how its used.

If I want to build again my website but not with an automatic backup like backup buddy does. I will install wordpress, import my pagesn articles, products, … and I will install your theme.

And there I don’t want to have to build again all my template page and set again all options so I’d like to upload a file like the demo file you offer…

Maybe my qestion is stupid, I don’t know…

In export tool there is a Avia framework option, is that what will give me my theme option backup file ?

No, there is no export tool. You need to import the database data you make from the backup (either from a plugin or directly through phpmyadmin or whatever your host uses).

    Ok, thank you.
