    Hi,
    I am wondering if anyone can help me figure out how to have my blog page go directly into a roll of of blog posts. What I mean is I don’t want there to be a main blog overview page were you have to click to actually see full posts. I want people to click on BLOG from the main menu and then arrive at post entries were the they can scroll down to see the oldest entries right there. Much like any classic old blog with the header, side bar and all. Here an example of what I mean: http://littlegreennotebook.blogspot.com/
    I really appreciate any help that could help me accomplish style of blog
    Thanks!

    Hey arenavioleta!

    You can choose how WordPress outputs your posts from the WordPress Settings>Reading>”For each article in a feed, show”.

    Best regards,
    Devin

    Hi Devin,
    Thanks for the response, but I am afraid I already tried that and it doesn’t solve the issue. I have clicked “show full text” but that still does not show my full posts with images and all when you click on my blog. YOu still have to click on each post individually to see them fully.

    Ok I just found this thread: http://www.kriesi.at/support/topic/blog-posts-not-full/
    and the first answer by DUDE solved the issue of being able to see the full posts and images upon clicking blog from the main menu.

    The issue that I am still have is that I can’t seem to be able to have the sidebar at the same page as well. If anyone can help that would be great!
    Thanks

    You would need to set the sidebar to being on by default from the Sidebar tab in the theme options.

    it is set but I still don’t see it in the blog page.

    Hey!

    I’m not sure why the sidebar is not working. Please try to download the latest version of the theme on your themeforest account again then update the theme via FTP.

    Regards,
    Ismael

    Hi,
    Updated the theme via FTP (which was a pain for me). Then yes the side bar was there but the main blog page was not displaying the posts the way I had them so, again I edited the following: includes/loop-index.php replace:

    if(is_search() || avia_is_overview())
    {
    the_excerpt();
    }
    else
    {
    the_content(__(‘Read more →’,’avia_framework’));
    }
    with:

    if(is_search())
    {
    the_excerpt();
    }
    else
    {
    the_content(__(‘Read more →’,’avia_framework’));
    }
    and:

    //embeded list gallery
    if(is_single() && strpos($avia_config[‘layout’],’attached_images’) !== false )
    {
    new avia_embed_images();
    }

    //embeded 3 column gallery
    if(is_single() && strpos($avia_config[‘layout’],’three_column’) !== false )
    {
    new avia_three_column();
    }

    //embeded list gallery
    if(is_single() && strpos($avia_config[‘layout’],’gallery_shortcode’) !== false )
    {
    global $gallery_active;
    if(!$gallery_active) echo do_shortcode(‘[gallery force="avia"]‘);
    }
    with:

    //embeded list gallery
    if(strpos($avia_config[‘layout’],’attached_images’) !== false )
    {
    new avia_embed_images();
    }

    //embeded 3 column gallery
    if(strpos($avia_config[‘layout’],’three_column’) !== false )
    {
    new avia_three_column();
    }

    //embeded list gallery
    if(strpos($avia_config[‘layout’],’gallery_shortcode’) !== false )
    {
    global $gallery_active;
    if(!$gallery_active) echo do_shortcode(‘[gallery force="avia"]‘);
    }

    Now I can see the posts the way I want them again, BUT the side bar hide behind the posts! It is there but behind my images.
    Can anyone please tell me how to move it to the right so people can actually see the right side bar. This is the last step for me then I am finally done, please someone help me asap I beg you.
    Thanks
