    Hi

    I updated WooCommerce to v2.1.5.
    In my previously installed versions I had the following code in my custom.css file to hide the price tag “From CHF xx.xx” on the product overview and the product detail page:
    #top .price .from {
    display: none;
    }

    With the updated WC version a new type of price tag has appeared: “From CHF xx.xx-CHF xx.xx

    How can I hide this price-range information again?

    I tried with:
    #top .price, #top .price {
    display: none;
    }

    Unfortunately this code also hides the price of the individual product variation, when one of the product option is selected.
    (The prducts are of the variable type).

    Can you please help?

    And could you tell me where the abbreviations for the currency have moved? They used to be in woocommerce-core-functions.ph, but this file is no longer there (as are others).

    Thanks

    Bruno

    Hi bruwa!

    Looks like you managed to remove the “From:” string. Are you trying to change the currency symbol? You can refer to this link: http://docs.woothemes.com/document/add-a-custom-currency-symbol/

    Best regards,
    Ismael

    Hi Ismael

    There is a misunderstanding:
    what I want is to completely hide the information about the price range underneath the images.
    I don’t want “CHF xx.xx-CHF xx.xx” to be displayed at all.

    However, when a product option is selected, the appropriate price should be shown above the button where you can choose the quantity and the button “Add to cart”.

    Best regards,
    Bruno

    PS
    Meanwhile I found the new location of the currency symbols.
    The file has been moved to woocommerce/includes and has been renamed wc-core-functions.php.

    Hey!

    Please add following code to Quick CSS in Flashlight theme options under Styling tab

    #top .price .from { display: none; }

    If that does not work, please post the link to your website so we can take a look

    Cheers!

    Hi

    I added the code you suggest to the Quck CSS – unfortunately with no visible effect.

    Hi Ygit

    this one worked on the product overview page!

    Do you have any suggestion to do the same on the single product page (without eliminating the price for the individual product variation)?

    Thanks,.

    Bruno

    #239481

    Hey!

    Following code should remove it from both overview page and single page

    p.price {
    display: none!important;
    }

    Make sure to flush browser cache after applying the code

    Cheers!

    Hi Yigit

    sorry for the trouble!

    p.price {
    display: none!important;
    }
    makes it disappear on the single product page, but not on the overview page
    ***************
    if I add the code
    #top .price { display: none !important; }
    it hides it not only on the overview and the single product page, but also the individual price of the product variations

    Cheers,

    Bruno

    Yigit

    Hi

    p.price {
    display: none!important;
    }
    #top .price { display: none !important; }
    .single-product #top .price { display: block !important; }

    still gets me the same result:
    it hides it not only on the overview and the single product page, but alsohides the individual price of the product variations

    Same situation, if I use this code alone:
    #top .price { display: none !important; }
    .single-product #top .price { display: block !important; }

    Regards,

    Bruno

    Hey

    you’re right. Now it works.
    I have no idea why it did not the first time (I had refreshed the browser and copied the code).

    Anyway, thanks a lot

    Bruno
