What is the procedure to insert multiple images in "open larger version of image in lightbox" ?
I want to click on the image of the post, then I could like to see several images with next or previous (I saw that in demo Newscast). I don't understand... When I click on the image to see the others, it's alway the same...
Than you
Bigi

Hi bg08ard,
When making your post, there is a box on the right hand side of the visual editor named "Full Size Pic or Video for Lightbox". Just hit the Insert Image/Video button and add your images through that popup.

Hi Devin,
Thank you, I use this box to insert my images, either in the post or in lightbox (or both) but I didn't see that was possible for several images. I'm going to try !

Devin,
I click on "Insert image/ video", then appear a popup with :
- from your computer
- from web
- gallery
- libraryI do not understand if I need to insert a gallery or images one by one ?
If I insert one by one from library, the last image delete previous image.
If I click on gallery, I have tried different settings but it does not workDo you see where is the problem (except me... lol) ?

And when I click on "insert gallery", button doesn't work or nothing happens...Posted 1 year ago # -
Hi bg08ard,
I believe I might have been incorrect in my previous post. It doesn't appear that there is a clear way to add multiple images to the single lightbox item.
I'll need to check with Kriesi to see how he achieved the effect on the demo site.

Hi bg08ard,
I just checked with the head of support on this and there isn't actually support in Newscast for multiple featured images. Whats happening in the demo and in the theme is the lightbox is gathering multiple featured images/videos into a single gallery so that the user can click through them. This will also happen on archive pages as well.
Its only in the newer themes that the javascript has been changed to separate out the individual galleries so that they don't have combined lightboxes.

Hi Devin,
I'm not sure well explain my problem and to understand your answer.
In fact, I want insert 2 or 3 pics in the lightbox, and then user can click on next or previous. If I understand your answer, is it impossible?
Above, you say : "hit the Insert Image/Video button and add your images through that popup" It's "imageS" or multiple that interest me.
Look at this : http://www.bruno-gouhoury.com/blog/campagnes-de-communication-dir-nord/ If you click on the pic, another open. And here, I'd prefer insert multiple (4) images, not a collage like this with four images.
Best regards

You could add a gallery to this post (simply upload some images by using the "insert media" button above the text editor - these images will be "attached" to the post). Then use the gallery shortcode: http://codex.wordpress.org/Gallery_Shortcode to insert them into your post/page content.

Hello Dude,
It's good for me ! Even if I try to understand how not to broadcast two times the same photo. When I add it in the post and that I want it to be published in the gallery, it appears twice.
Thank you

Hi Bigi,
I think what you'll need to do is use an image as the "Featured Image" that is not used in your Gallery.
