just purchased enfold wordpress theme, struggling to install, installation instructions in documentation has link to ‘demo’ video, but link not working? this is my first theme purchase/install, so unfamiliar with what to do. also why are there two downloable zip files, one of 20.7mb and one of 10.2mb? help!

    Hi Kris-

The smaller zip is the one you want to upload or install into wordpress. The larger zip includes the documentation, etc. Unzip the bigger one to see the documentation, etc.

To install go to appearance themes -> theme install, and upload the smaller zip.

@scheinbs: Thank you for the help. :)

@duggal13: scheinbs is correct, the smaller size file is the one you want to upload on your wordpress installation. Just follow this simple instruction.

    - Dashboard of WP-Admin

    – Go to Appearance

    – Install Themes Tab

    – Upload Tab

    – Upload the theme file (.ZIP)

    – Manage Themes Tab

    – Activate It

Thanks for responses, but i have still not been able to upload, via upload theme, getting ‘wordpress failure notice’

    some more detail.

i am trying to upload via my windows laptop the smaller zipped folder entitled ‘themeforest enfold responsive theme wordpress theme’ which as i said is 10.2mb. it contains sub folders ‘enfold’ and ‘_macosx’. is it the enfold sub folder that i have to upload after first zipping? or another folder?

    Hi Kris,

If you are having issues that way, I’d recommend uploading it via FTP. Its pretty quick and simple but I made a video to help out users with the process as well: https://vimeo.com/channels/aviathemes/64927356

I use Filezilla and 7zip in the video since they are both free programs so easy to get and use.

    Hi Devin

Thanks so much for post, i managed to ftp it over and learnt something in the process.

The video made it possible, without that no chance, I will definitely check out other Enfold videos.

Good thing you managed to make it work. :)
