    Hi bg08ard,

    In order to do this, you’ll need to add the target=”_blank” to the RSS and Twitter links in the header.php file.

    These are the lines you’re looking for:

    <li class='rss'><a class='ie6fix' href="<?php bloginfo('rss2_url'); ?>">RSS</a></li>

    <?php if(isset($k_option['general']['acc_tw']) && $k_option['general']['acc_tw'] != '')
    echo "<li class='twitter'><a class='ie6fix' href='http://twitter.com/".$k_option['general']['acc_tw']."'>Twitter</a></li>";
    ?>

    This is what you’ll need to replace those with:

    <li class='rss'><a target="_blank" class='ie6fix' href="<?php bloginfo('rss2_url'); ?>">RSS</a></li>

    <?php if(isset($k_option['general']['acc_tw']) && $k_option['general']['acc_tw'] != '')
    echo "<li class='twitter'><a target="_blank" class='ie6fix' href='http://twitter.com/".$k_option['general']['acc_tw']."'>Twitter</a></li>";
    ?>

    Mya

    Hi Mya,

    Thank you very much.

    Could you tell me if it’s better to use the wordpress editor or notepad after uploaded file by filezilla ? It seems to me that I can not see all files in the wordpress editor, isn’t it ?

    Best regards

    Hi,

    A problem after the changes : Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_STRING, expecting ‘,’ or ‘;’ (…) in line 150

    Here the line : <li class=’rss’>“>RSS

    <?php if(isset($k_option) && $k_option != ”)

    echo “<li class=’twitter’>Twitter“;

    I just added : target=”_blank”

    #70843

    And if I withdraw target=”_blank” on this line, it’s ok !

    #70844

    <?php if(isset($k_option) && $k_option != ”)

    echo “<li class=’twitter’>Twitter“;

    #70845

    Ho ho ho…

    How post a line ? it is not fully reproduced !?!

    #70846

    Hello,

    Just do what Mya said and it should work just fine.

    <?php if(isset($k_option['general']['acc_tw']) && $k_option['general']['acc_tw'] != '')
    echo "<li class='twitter'><a target="_blank" class='ie6fix' href='http://twitter.com/".$k_option['general']['acc_tw']."'>Twitter</a></li>";?>

    Regards,

    Ismael

    #70847

    Hello Ismael,

    in fact, I copied the line entirely ?

    Best regards

    Bigi

    Sorry,

    I copied the line entirely, but it does not work. I encounter the same error.

    In fact, I can not see the end of the line proposed by Mya (mobile window on my screen) and “select all” does not copy any …

    it works for RSS, but not for Twitter… A problem with “,” or “;” end of the line ?

    #70850

    Hi Bigi,

    My fault. There was a typo with the code I provided. Use this:

    <li class='rss'><a target='_blank' class='ie6fix' href="<?php bloginfo('rss2_url'); ?>">RSS</a></li>

    <?php if(isset($k_option['general']['acc_tw']) && $k_option['general']['acc_tw'] != '')
    echo "<li class='twitter'><a target='_blank' class='ie6fix' href='http://twitter.com/".$k_option['general']['acc_tw']."'>Twitter</a></li>";
    ?>

    The only difference is instead of double quotes I used single quotes around _blank so what you’re adding is this:

    target='_blank'

    Mya
