    Hi,

    I would like to combine the disclaimer with the contact form.

    Disclaimers are long, and a contact form at the end of it doesn’t make much sense. So I want to position it above! ;-)

    How?

    Does anyone know a solution for that?

    Open up includes/loop-page.php and replace following code:

    the_content(__('Read more  →','avia_framework'));

    //check if this is the contact form page, if so display the form
    $contact_page_id = avia_get_option('email_page');

    //wpml prepared
    if (function_exists('icl_object_id'))
    {
    $contact_page_id = icl_object_id($contact_page_id, 'page', true);
    }

    if(isset($post->ID) && $contact_page_id == $post->ID) get_template_part( 'includes/contact-form' );

    with:

    //check if this is the contact form page, if so display the form
    $contact_page_id = avia_get_option('email_page');

    //wpml prepared
    if (function_exists('icl_object_id'))
    {
    $contact_page_id = icl_object_id($contact_page_id, 'page', true);
    }

    if(isset($post->ID) && $contact_page_id == $post->ID) get_template_part( 'includes/contact-form' );

    the_content(__('Read more →','avia_framework'));

    Hi,

    I will try that.

    What will happen, when an update is upcoming? Do I have to re-do it?

    Boris

    Hi Boris,

    If you update the whole theme you’ll need to re-add this to the includes/loop-page.php. You can also keep a backup of the whole file and then re-upload just this file after each update as long as the version.rtf doesn’t list the loop-page.php as something that received an update.

    Devin

    Hi,

    this doubles the content, putting the mailform in between.

    What went wrong?

    Boris

    #74091

    ok. my mistakt, of course!

    I thought deleting the first line

    “the_content(__(‘Read more →’,’avia_framework’)); “

    was a cut an paste error by you.

    Shame on me ;-)

    Problem resolved.

    Thanks for the quick help!

    Boris

    PS: The updatequestion (see above) is still valid ;-)

    By the way: Where can I translate/edit the form-titles like Name, Subject, Message? I cannot do it via the mo/po-File – editor.

    Hi!

    You can translate these strings in sentence/includes/contact-form.php.

    Best regards,

    Peter

    Hello Peter,

    Sorry, I can’t find it.

    The String “Message” or “Subject” is not in that file.

    I want to change the labeling of the form-fields, so that “Message” will be translated in to “Nachricht”.

    Boris

    Hey!

    Ok, this code is located in sentence/framework/class-form-generator.php – search for “Your Message:” in this file and replace it with “Ihre Nachricht:“.

    Best regards,

    Peter

    Hi Peter,

    this was close, but not it!

    Have a look here: http://www.hebammenblog.de/kontakt-impressum/

    I want to change the Names net to the form-boxes.

    #74097

    Hi!

    Oh ok – you want to change the labels. Go to Sentence > Theme Options > Contact and insert something else into the label fields (eg instead of “Subject” insert “Betreff”).

    Best regards,

    Peter

    #74098

    Oh! This was so easy – I just didn’t realize that those fields where editable! ;-)

    Thank you! (Again!)

    Hey!

    Glad that I could help you :)

    Regards,

    Peter
