    Ok so lets say i want to post some wallpapers for users which can be up to 1920×1200 in size

    I want to be able to post that image scaled to 953×596 and when users click on the image it turns into 1920×1200

    I was thinking a custom template but not sure how to go about that!

    Thank you

    Hi EriDesign,

    You would just add the image in via the visual editor Add Media icon. Its right above the editor when viewing a page or post and says Upload/Insert next to it.

    Right that’s what i did in the begging.

    The image shows fine but when you click on it it doesn’t open in a new tab to show full size instead the preview option of the theme shows it which gives the users no option to save the picture…

    Hello,

    What about link it manually to the larger version of the image?

    Tried that but same thing still happens…

    My goal was to make a post with pictures scaled to 953×596 and to not have the side bar in this specific post and when users would click on the picture they would be directed to a link which contained the 1920×1200 image!

    Edit:

    I notice that when you do (open in new tab) on your browser it actually goes where i want it to be!

    Hello,

    You can disable the lightbox entirely if you want. This way, images will open directly on the link provided.

    Open js > avia.js and find this code

    //activates the prettyphoto lightbox
    if(jQuery.fn.avia_activate_lightbox)
    jQuery('body').avia_activate_lightbox();

    Ismael

    I am kind of a newbie here so bear with me lol

    Do i find the js > avia.js in my file manager? Also what do i replace the code with to deactivate that!

    Hello,

    Sorry, I forgot. Yes, you can find it on wp-content > themes > shoutbox > js > avia.js. Find the code

    //activates the prettyphoto lightbox
    if(jQuery.fn.avia_activate_lightbox)
    jQuery('body').avia_activate_lightbox();

    then replace it with

    //activates the prettyphoto lightbox
    //if(jQuery.fn.avia_activate_lightbox)
    //jQuery('body').avia_activate_lightbox();

    Regards,

    Ismael

    Hello,

    Try to delete browser history and deactivate all plugins then try again. :)
