    Hi there,

Firstly, I hope all is well with you and your team. I am impressed with all your work and I consider this theme purchase to be one of the most valuable item I have ever purchased. Thank you for such a wonderfully organized and well thought out theme.

I have used one of the main page columns to open up a light box and display a quick demo video. I’m also wondering how I can properly activate the specific video to show up in a light box by linking to one of the slider images or possibly one of the drop down menu items?

Basically, is there a URL I can use to direct to the lightbox action to open the specific video? I’m able to link to the specific post that the video is in, but it would be real cool if you can tell me what to do to get the lightbox feature to show a specific video linked from a Slider link.

    Thank you and best regards,

    Mark

    Hey,

It’s possible to add an youtube or vimeo video to the menu. Go to Appearance > Menus and create a custom link. Add your youtube url in the url field and name the menu item. Then click on “Add to menu”.

Now the item appears on the right side – click on the item to open up the link options/properties. In the “Link Relationship (XFN)” field type in “lightbox” or “prettyPhoto”. If you can’t see a “Link Relationship (XFN)” field click on “Screen Options” button at the right top and chech the “Link Relationship (XFN)” checkbox under “Show advanced menu properties”.

It’s not possible to add videos to the slider though.

    Hey Dude,

    Thanks for the quick reply.

I did just what you suggested and viola. It works perfectly.

Is there at all a way to open a registration page in a lightbox or a new window? Right now, I have users register by linking them to another page. I know there’s “lightbox” and “prettyPhoto” but those are designed to open videos and photos only..

    Thanks again.

You can use iframes with prettyphoto. More about the syntax can be found here: http://www.no-margin-for-errors.com/projects/prettyphoto-jquery-lightbox-clone/
