    Hi there,

I have downloaded the Angular theme, and wish to modify it for my website.

I might have modified it too much, such that it is now taking very long to load each new webpage + changes on the dashboard. In addition, when i click “import dummy data”, all the date no longer reflects.

Is this due to me deleting past pages and portfolio?

I have tried deleting and reinstalling the theme (fresh download from themeforest), but it does not solve the problem.

Have an important launch for a client in 3 days time..really sorry for this urgency.

    Thanks for the help!

    Hi Sharon,

To be honest, without seeing it I can’t be sure what all is going on or the cause. My first thought is that if re-installing a fresh copy didn’t work, a plugin may be causing the problem. So this what I would do.

    - Deactivate any plugins

    – Switch to WordPress’ TwentyTen or TwentyEleven theme then delete Angular (You may want to do this via FTP just to make sure)

    – If you need to remove any dummy data that was imported in Pages, Posts, Portfolio Items

    – Install a fresh copy

    – Activate theme then test to see how the default theme runs

If the theme in it’s default state is working fine then begin making customizations. Just keep a routine check that way you’ll know if and when the page starts to become slow. I would wait to activate any additional plugins until the end.

    Hope this helps! Good luck.

    Regards,

    Mya

    Hey Mya,

turns out that i linked two pages to the same URL that’s why loading was taking so long. Resolved the problem :)

    Thanks for the fast response!
