    Hi, I need to include some styling the search return page : amending the format to include a right column and change the order of elements (returns at top followed by “new search”), changing the default copy. Is the only way to do that through editing the search.php page?

    Yes that would be the way to do that, do you have a mockup or something like that showing what you are looking to achieve maybe?

    Hey Kate!

    Yes, editing search.php is the only way, unfortunately you are not using a child theme, which means any changes you do in search.php will be overwritten during the theme update. The safer way is to use a child theme, create search.php in the child theme and copy all contents of search.php in the enfold theme and then modify it the way you want to be formatted.
