How to translate image descriptions

I am using WPML and tried to translate image descriptions using the WPML Media Translation Plugin http://wpml.org/2011/05/new-plugin-wpml-media-translation/. Seems that the Flashlight gallery is not compatible with that plugin.

Any recomondation on how to translate image descriptions?

Hi maratino,

Because Flashlight doesn't use the default wordpress attachments I don't believe that plugin will ever be possible to be compatible to the Flashlight galleries.

I've tagged Kriesi on the topic to see if he has any other thoughts on it but from the description of how it works I don't believe it would work.

Hey!

The next version will add a different kind of gallery manager and improved WPML support. Please wait a few days until the update arrives, it should then be easy to translate posts and the images attached to each gallery ;)
