    Hey Enfold-Team,
    I noticed that I can only select normal pages as parent (setting in “page attributes” block) for standard pages, but I’d like to also use portfolio-items as parent page – is that somehow possible/activateable?

    Background is that I use the portfolio Grid for displaying different categories, in which I can only use portfolio-items and not normal pages. So I setup the category pages as portfolio-items, but now for the subitems of the categories I’d like to have them as children of those category pages for a nice permalink structure.

    Thanks in advance,
    Joerka

    I’m 99.9% sure this isn’t possible. When you declare a custom post type you can indicate that it’s hierarchical but then posts of that type can only be hierarchical to one another; not across post types.

    Hi,

    Please see @kevinmcgillivray’s post above.
    Instead you can use gallery or masonry gallery element and link your images to your pages. You would have gallery on your category page and clicking on images would take to cooresponding page.

    @kevinmcgillivray
    Thanks for your input! :)

    Best regards,

    Thanks kevinmcgillivray and Yigit! good to know, luckily it was just a nice-to-have feature and is not really necessary.
