Hello, how do you widen the main posts column and shrink the side bar. I found a link that showed how to widen the main column and it moved the vertical line where I wanted it, but the shadowed section of the sidebar stayed where it was and the text wouldn't move. Thanks for your help.

The two classes you will need to edit in the main style are .content and .sidebar (lines 88 and 102 respectively). Each of these classes widths control the container size for the main content area and the sidebar.
Be careful when changing these as many of the core mechanics of the theme rely on the 580px width of the content container and the 270px width of the sidebar.
