I need to add CSS via wp_enqueue_style that will load before any other scripts. How and where do I go about adding that?

    Thank you so much,

    Hi Brent,

If you want the css to have the highest priority it actually needs to be added last. Otherwise you could just add it at the beginning of your functions.php.

or add an !important tag to your CSS element.

While !important does force css to take priority, its a last resort since it tends to make further css edits down the road confusing or in turn need !important declarations as well.
