Hi ggamache,
It looks like the CleanCut HTML theme isn't listed as having support for IE9 and the demo frontpage slider isn't working in IE9 as well so I think that might be the case.
I've just sent an email to Kriesi to double check about that and if he has plans on updating the code to support IE9 in the future.
