I followed your instructions on previous threads to modify the widths of the main body and sidebar on the style sheet, and it technically worked, but the text on the main page is still restricted to the original width. The width is bigger, but my posts aren't. Is there something additional I need to modify?

I also just noticed that the some text bleeds off the sidebar now after decreasing the width. See the categories widget: http://www.therealestaterealist.com

Hi,
in your style.css you can edit:
.entry {
change the width to your preferred width.Could you specify what you mean with the second question? I don't see any anomalies in your sidebar width & text bleed, maybe an image can help.
