I had my site load with a forced WWW subdomain, and it slowed down the theme or the site never loads.

There’s no problem at server side to be marked as not a support question. Hostgator.com has suggested to contact the theme developers as it’s evaluated, that every thing is clear at server side.

    Hi 666666,

I’m getting 404 errors on most of the assets for the site. So right now from my end almost nothing is loading.

I don’t have any experience with hostgator or forcing the www but as is, the installation seems to be pretty broken.

I’d suggest removing all active plugins, get back to a point where things are accessible either through wordpress changes or hosting changes and then take steps from there to increase load times.

    Regards,

    Devin

Hi Devin :) Thanks alot for support in timely fashion.

Okay sure… I’ll get back to you based on their response :)

The more details the better but simply changing the url shouldn’t cause an issue as far as I know. It could have an issue with wordpress core though I’ve never heard of one and I would hope HostGator would warn you if it was a known issue.

    Regards,

    Devin
