I have moved my Enfold site from a sub folder to the root. Almost everything is working, and I have now only two problems left:
1. Icons are not showing in Firefox and Chrome … somehow they show in Safari. Strange.
Screenshot: https://www.dropbox.com/s/k8qrecnrnmia9g3/Screen%20Shot%202016-03-09%20at%2021.43.22.png?dl=02. In the Settings > Permalinks control panel I see this error message in the top of the screen:
Warning: is_writable(): open_basedir restriction in effect. File(/) is not within the allowed path(s): (/customers/6/b/f/2-k.dk/httpd.www:/customers/6/b/f/2-k.dk/httpd.private:/customers/6/b/f/2-k.dk/tmp:/customers/2-k.dk/2-k.dk:/var/www/diagnostics:/usr/share/php) in /customers/6/b/f/2-k.dk/httpd.www/wp/wp-admin/options-permalink.php on line 118 Warning: is_writable(): open_basedir restriction in effect. 1- Please refer to this post – http://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/enable-cors/
2- Please try de-activating all active plugins and check if that helpsCheers!
YigitMarch 10, 2016 at 11:31 am #596218Hi Yegit
1. Thanks. Adding this peice of code to my .htaccess file did the trick. Great !!! :)
2. I have no activated plugins at all. Any other ideas? And do you think it’s related with the Enfold Theme or Word Press in general?Best regards,
JesperMarch 15, 2016 at 6:25 am #598177Hi!
2.) This looks like a server issue. Have you tried to contact your hosting provider? I’m sure they will know what to do with it. Is this happening on a default theme?
Cheers!
IsmaelMarch 15, 2016 at 9:02 am #598259Thanks for answering :)
No, I have not contacted my hosting provider (one.com) yet. The “problem” came after I moved my Enfold site from a sub folder to the root, so I think it is somehow related to this. And I don’t think my hosting provider are able to (and willing to) assist.Yes, I use a default Enfold theme with no plugins.
But if you experts don’t think it´s a problem, it’s not a big deal and we can live with this error message. Would you do that if you were me?
Thanks again,

March 16, 2016 at 6:25 am #598788Hi Jesper,
From my experience the support at one.com are more than willing to help so I would at least try to ask them for help, I’m sure they can help you out.
Thanks,
RikardMarch 16, 2016 at 12:53 pm #598900Ok, I’ll try that …. and update this post when I find a solution.
Thanks,
JesperMarch 16, 2016 at 2:03 pm #598924Update: Had a nice chat with One.com support. They where very helpful, but after having tried a few things, we concluded that the problem wasn’t related to the host. But that it’s somehow a WP problem … perhaps related to permissions or similar.
So I still have the same problem: https://www.dropbox.com/s/fubl65k1g254mmq/Screen%20Shot%202016-03-16%20at%2012.52.01.png?dl=0If somebody have an idea, your are very welcome to let me know. Otherwise I’ll just try and live with this small error message i the Permalinks control panel :)
March 16, 2016 at 9:28 pm #599240Final update: The advise I got from one.com actually did help. They told me to turn off PHP error messages in the PHP & MySQL control panel in the One.com admin. Apparently it just took a few hours to propagate … but now everything is fine.
Thanks for your help … and thumbs up for one.com support.
:)
