I am using the Propulsion theme. Photos and Pretty Photo look and work fine (click photo and it overlays the enlarged image) in FF, Chrome, IE9 & even IE7 on the real-self-defense.com site. But when viewing it in an IE8 browser, the photos are distorted, squashed and look like narrow bands of black. While tricky to do, you can still mouse click on the distorted photo in IE8 and it will display the overlay Pretty Photo, but the distorted photo occurring with IE8 is unacceptable to my web design client.
I have fiddled with the image html, and deactivated most all plugins. But the problem seems to remain.
Can you recommend a fix or workaround for this problem?
You can view the problem (with IE8) in particular on this page: http://real-self-defense.com/unbreakable-walking-stick-umbrella-premium/ You will see 4 distorted photos. Below is the example code of one of the photos that is problematic in IE8.

I hope you have a solution for me. And thank you kindly for your help. - Cheers, Joel
After looking deep into the Propulsion forum, I found what seems to be a solution. See IMAGES NOT SHOWING UP IN IE8 thread at: http://www.kriesi.at/support/topic/images-not-showing-up-in-ie8
Thank you elizabethkohl & Dude for your good img height: auto, width: auto custom css solution! - Cheers!
