I know there is a force code for IE7 prob even for this reason. We are using a plug in that has when using a redirect linking does not work for IE7. But when I remove the force IE7 it causes the shadowing issues on the home slider. The site looks fine in IE9. Do you have a suggestion in how we can achieve both.

Hey,
you can use conditional comments for IE to hide/exclude the shadow images for IE7 users. The most important are listed here: http://www.quirksmode.org/css/condcom.html - I'd include the code in header.php before the closing head tag. The disadvantage is that IE7 users won't see the shadows anymore however the market shareof IE7 is low.Posted 1 year ago #
