So i want to either have one big sidebar on the right of the page or i’ll have two side bars but really i just want a sidebar on the right basically i got other things happening on the left i basically have the two sidebar things happening right now and only a widget for the right sidebar where i got a calendar i want to have it display fully instead of having it cut off where supposely the second side bar on the right is but what i dont understand is why does it seem like there is two sidebars on the right rather than one on the left and one on the right is there a way to just have one side bar on the right and if so how do i align it up further to the right cuz it seems as though something is preventing it from being further to the right where i want it can someone help me out

Also another thing i wanted to know the theme comes with a couple stock backgrounds im using the modern right now and its a fixed background and wanted some help and changing the background image still need it to be a fixed background just different image i didnt know if that is possible with this theme didnt really have any options indicating i had a choice in theme options and i cant seem to find it in the css
final question is:
Is there a way to keep the accordion slider and not have a blog roll of the post corresponding to the posts with the featured images that make the slider work on the front page…what im asking is there a way to have the slider work without the small post previews below the slider i just want to make whats below the slider blank page space to put on big block of text instead of the individual post in 7 different preview boxes i just wanna put one block of text there instead am i asking to much? tell me if i need to be more specific on that or if that is even possibleMay 31, 2012 at 4:33 pm #75734June 2, 2012 at 3:48 pm #75735
well i changed the home to have the sliders to come from pages rather than post which fixed the final question but i still need to change the back ground and do something different with the side bars i guess the moderators are busy helping other peopleJune 3, 2012 at 3:27 am #75736
Sorry for the delay in responding. We’ve had a lot of questions to go through these past couple of weeks.
To change the background you would change this in your style4.css:
background: url("../images/skin4/bg.jpg") no-repeat fixed center top #000000;
Note: style4.css is the Modern skin.
To answer your sidebar question, go to Newscast Options > Sidebar & Footer. The first option “Sidebar Count” gives you two choices “Two small sidebars” which is default or “One big sidebar”. Choosing the “One big sidebar” will give you a right sidebar.
Hope this helps!
