If you could take a look at the test post here: http://kooksjournal.net/test/

My caption looks really strange and I don’t understand why.

The caption is: Merv was a major oasis-city in Central Asia, on the historical Silk Road, located near today’s Mary in Turkmenistan. Several cities have existed on this site, which is significant for the interchange of culture and politics at a site of major strategic value.

Image description only shows when you click on the image: was a major oasis-city in Central Asia, on the historical Silk Road, located near today

Problems don’t end here, if I increase the number of images, stranger things start to happen.

There are two places where I can put captions for the image one is in the media manager and the other one is the featured image, but what I don’t understand is, why doesn’t your theme use the caption that belongs to the image, and there are two different places to specify the caption which is causing some problems. How am I supposed to use the captions for the images?

    Hi,

Please use the Featured Media’s caption fields to create a caption, edit the post then look for “Add featured media” section. Don’t use the media manager.

    Regards,

    Ismael
