    Thanks everyone for your help! I’m almost there. One last question and it might be a biggie. I know there have been some similar questions, but I couldn’t find anything quite the same.

    Is there a way to limit the height on the images in the lightbox container? There are a couple of issues with the way that it’s working now. First off, when you preview a portfolio item, it’s difficult to click on anything in the footer because the lightbox images keep varying and pushing that up and down. And secondly, when you are on a mobile device or narrow browser window, the text becomes unreadable because the image is now above the text, moving it all over the page.

    I’m looking into resizing and regenerating the images via functions.php but I can’t figure out which line goes with which image type. I could work through them, resizing the thumbnails every time to check but I thought I’d just ask! I’m not sure that this will solve my height problem anyway. Will it?

    Try adding this code to the Quick CSS:

    img.mfp-img {
        max-height: 300px !important;

    Change as needed.

    Hmm, it’s still doing the super tall images.

    If I adjust
    #top .slideshow li img
    max-height at 300px and the width at auto, it sort of does what I’m looking for, but the container still changes sizes for the image.

    I though you were talking about the lightbox container, can you post a link to your website?

    Yeah I’m not sure what I’m talking about most of the time ;)

    Here’s a link:

    Can you please create me an administrator account? post it here as a private reply.

    Ok there you go Josue. Thought I had done that. Must not have clicked save!

    Review your site, lightbox images will now have a maximum height of 930px.

    Thanks Josue! I have two version of this site and would like to copy the change over. Did you just add to the quick css or were there any files that you had to modify?

    I really appreciate you taking the time to help me out on this. Looks great.

    No Quick CSS was needed, i just modified this file (line 603 and line 621):

    Best regards,

    Thank you my friend!!!

    You are welcome, always glad to help :)
