i have created a child theme with choice template. it is ok with files like 'footer.php or folder like includes but not for the images/layout folder.
I have copy and paste my images in the child theme and i have modify them but there is no modification in my website (for instance : arrow_set.png in the folder images/layout)
Does the answer come from the css ? Or does i have to change something in the functions files ?

Afaik WordPress will not use these images automatically. You need to use your child theme style.css to overwrite the "default" image path with your new custom path. If you use the same folder structure for your child theme you just need to copy/paste the original code into your child theme style.css, otherwise you need to change/adjust the relative image path too.
