hi,
i have two questions re imagery.
On the smaller thumbnail images used in the portfolio and on the home page, is there any way to set where they are cropped?
Also, i have inserted an image 930px x 1858px for the main portfolio entry and it is pixelated. Any ideas as to why it is not displaying properly?

Hi Lee,
Unfortunately no, there isn't a way to set where they get automatically cropped. What you can do, if you want absolute control, is download via ftp the images that get created for each portfolio item then use those sizes as a model to make your own properly cropped images. Then, re-upload the new photos to your server in the same location as the old ones with the same name and wordpress will use those photos.
The site linked is currently using a different template and set up so I can't see whats happening with the portfolio entry.
