If you have troubles since the update to WordPress 4.5 please read this post before opening a new thread.
I have the featured image slider on my homepage but am having an issue with it. I created a page and inserted 2 images in it just as explained in the tutorial. The first image is displaying properly, but when i added the second image a problem occurred.
The images are showing as follows: image 1 correctly, image 2 correctly then image 2 again but resized and misplaced.
Can you help me with this? homepage url is http://www.promotioninternetmarketingbureau.nl
Which browser(s) are you experiencing this problem with? It seemed to work fine in Safari / Firefox on Mac for me.
Can you disable any plugins / external sourced JS and test if this solves the problem?
I am having the issue in firefox for pc and internet explorer. I just disabled all plugins but unfortunately that didn’t work. I know the gallery seems to work fine, but if you see the second image appear in the gallery, wait a few moments and you will see that the image will drop down a little bit, you can see this best when you watch the text in the image. When this happens you can also see a bit of the first image in the upper left corner of the gallery.
Hope you have any ideas what may cause this.
Thanks for your help.
Can you create me an admin account and send me the login details to: (Email address hidden if logged out) – I’ll look into it :)
I see, thanks! Can you tell me what was causing the problem so i won’t run into it again?
you need to insert the image only – wp inserts image links by default (if you click on “insert into post”). The best way to fix it is to switch to html view and to delete the a href element around the image.
