Installed the theme and love it. I would like to remove the image titles that appear when you hover over any image in a portfolio or post. Could you point me to the php file and snippet of code I need to remove in order to achieve this?

    Hey eyedhaas!

    Please see Josue’s post here

    Best regards,

    HI Yigit,

Thanks! Adding that jquery to avia.js helped on all images except for one dynamic template page where I call the portfolio element. One element in the portfolio is a video and that works with no tooltip but the other portfolio is a slideshow of images and the tooltip is still appearing when I hover over the image.

    Thanks for your help.

Which page specifically is this? We’ll need to see it live.

    Here is the link.

Once on the page, click Neglect, the titles/tooltips are still popping up on the neglect still images

    Thanks for the help!

    Hi Isaac!

You have this code in that Page (at the bottom):

    <script type="text/javascript">
/* The first line waits until the page has finished to load and is ready to manipulate */
/* remove the 'title' attribute of all <img /> tags */

    Please remove it.

Thanks for the reply, but I don’t know where to look to find the script to remove it. Is it in the php files or js files? I’m unclear as to where to look. Thanks!

    Hi Isaac!

It is in the php files, most likely in footer.php or functions.php (enqueued):

    Thanks, Josue!
I found the js code snippet in the footer.php which is great but the tooltips are still showing up on the Neglect page.
Bizarre. Any other ideas on why just this section is showing the tooltips while all the other portfolios aren’t?

    Hi Isaac!

Please check again, i’m not seeing any tooltips in that page:

    Best regards,

    Hi Josue,

I see from the link that you’re viewing the actual portfolio item and you are correct that the tooltips don’t appear. That’s awesome but the site navigation does not go to that specific page. I have it set up so the user can only access that portfolio by clicking short films page.

On the short films page, the user clicks the short film “Neglect” which pulls down the 4 images with AJAX. It is only on these 4 images that the tooltips appear – oddly enough. The short films page was built with the Template Builder using the Portfolio option.

    Sorry about all this!

    Hi Isaac!

It’s happening because the ajax content gets rendered after the javascript title-removal script is run, so it doesn’t affect it. However i got an idea, can you create me an administrator account and post it here as a private reply?

    Hi Josue,

So many thanks for helping me with this issue.
You are now an administrator –

    Josue Awesomeness
    password: gabbyd
(Email address hidden if logged out)

Thanks. I’m curious to see what you do.

    Which one is the username?

    Username: Josue

E-mail: (Email address hidden if logged out)

It’s not working, please check the user is correctly set up.

Sorry about that. The owner of the site deleted you after she got an email saying I added you to the account. She thought it was spam or someone had hacked her account.

You’ve been reinstated as an admin on the account.
Your username is Josue and your password is gabbyd
Full name is Josue Konzept and the email address used is (Email address hidden if logged out)

    I modified avia.js, line 561.

    Best regards,

Thanks so much for all of your help. Really amazing and most appreciated. Have a great day.

You are welcome, glad we could help :)
