Increase height for home slider

Hello, I want to change the slider size, increase the height and push the main container to the slider limit, is this possible?
We will use the same template for all the pages

This is how we want the main page. The content area is no problem.
I changed the layout.css #main like this margin:0 auto 0 auto; in order to push the box down, now I just need to change the slider in order to have the images with a bigger height.

Any advice is welcome.

Hi jorgepelaez,

I'm not sure what you mean. The slideshow area should already adapt to the size of the images within it.

Hi Devin I want to use 990 x 460 pixels images in the slider without re sizing the background image. This way I will force the slider and the controls to move to the bottom edge of my background.

I tried changing the functions.php size for featured but it keeps re sizing the images and background.

If you check my demo site you will see that the slider container is almost in the middle and I want it
