If you have troubles since the update to WordPress 4.5 please read this post before opening a new thread.
I am sure I am missing something simple. I’m trying to use an inline slider, but I can’t get the sizing issue worked out.
I used the picture from your site, and all the same markup from the help file, and it’s still stretching the slider to the fullwidth of the page (I’m using a fullwidth template). I’m trying to eventually get the slider to be smaller than the one you’ve sampled, but I can’t even get it to be the same size :( NOTE: If I use the shortcode to make 4 columns, it stretches to the size of the 3 columns (I have 3/4 and 1/4 setup). There seems to “size to fullwidth” that I can’t find to remove.
Do I need to change the CSS (which I tried and it had no change on the actual slider) or do I need attribute that I’m not using correctly? (height and width doesn’t seem to work)
Thanks for your help.
The fullwidth template adds a CSS class called fullwidth to #wrapper_main which is inherited by the slider and makes the slider width full width. You can’t remove this CSS class without causing problems on every fullwidth page.
What’s the page URL for the slider and what width do you want it to be?
