In the demo site (this page), the slideshow doesn’t adjust its height to fit the image ratio when using IE8 or 7.

Is it a problem with my computer ?
It looked the same to me in IE8 and IE9.
As for IE7, it is currently used by .9% of online users primarily in rural China, Patagonia, North Korea and parts of Siberia. That number is expected to drop to .7% after Papua New Guinea Royal Air-force announced an upgrade.
I wouldn’t worry too much about IE7, its remaining lifespan can be measured in weeks.
Thank you for your (hilarious!) response, but I’ve got the same problem in IE8 (not tested in IE9).
Normal behaviour (Safari, Firefox, Chrome…) :
Image cropped (IE7, IE8, not tested in IE9) :
By the way, here in my underdeveloped country (France) IE7 usage is closer to 3,5 % for the sites I manage :
Not a big number, but Flashlight is advertised as compatible with IE7 ;-)
Thank you for your help.
I see what you mean in IE8 and IE7 though I’m not sure there is anything that can for sure be done to fix it since IE is quite picky on what it takes for image height and it looks like its picking up the height for the slideshow from the first image.
Just as an aside, it does seem to work exactly the same in IE9 (adjusting to the height per image).
I’ll tag the topic for Kriesi to take a look at and see if this is something that can be modified for IE7 and 8.
Hope Kriesi will fix it…
Meanwhile, I’ll use the “Image list attached to the entry” gallery type.
I’m a little disappointed but Flashlight is still the best photography theme !
