    Hi team,

    I just purchased my second copy of Enfold (3.3.2) to do a clients website. I also purchased a second copy of Revolution Slider (ver, 5.0.5). I am mirroring my own site’s setup on a new host server for my client (not same design, obviously).

    I Installed Enfold into WordPress then activated Revolution Slider. Rev Slider was inoperable, to create or import sliders in any way. There were no other plugins, other than default plugins.

    I then removed Enfold from WordPress and activated the Twenty Fifteen theme. Rev Slider performs flawlessly.

    I have informed ThemePunch as well…

    I need to get this sorted out so I can finish my clients site. What can be done?

    Hey!

    we can’t do much about revolution slider and you would need to wait for help from plugin’s author. I suggest to use layer slider instead (which is implemented into Enfold theme by default).

    Just to be clear, did you try to create a new slide or import a template on the WordPress site I provided you? Were you able? You never stated if this was the case.

    What has me really baffled is that I use the Enfold theme for my own site, on a different host, and the latest Revolution Slider works there with Enfold! The only difference I can see is that they are on two different hosts. I have contacted DreamHost and they say it must be a special set up on my site’s host server (GeekStorage), but nothing special has been done. Any thoughts on how can that could be?

    Re LayerSlider, I am fully aware it comes with Enfold. This is the second Enfold license I have purchased as I previously stated, and I have used both sliders extensively. I find Revolution Slider superior. But if I have to use LayerSlider in the interim (which needs to be updated, by the way), can you please tell me how to add a scroll down code to a layer image and or text on the home page Advanced Layer Slider?

    Hey!

    no I did not try to add a new slide in your revolution slider, because 1. I believe you when you say it’s not working and 2. we can’t help with revolution slider and you need to ask plugin’s author, as I already told you.

    Sounds weird to me that it works on one installation but not on the other one. Maybe some other plugins interfering anything? please ask revolution slider about this issue.
