    Hi,

I am using shortcodes to insert tabs into the following post then embed maps into the tabs and the first map shows up in the first tab without a problem but second tap behaves funny it doesnt show the map properly. Same thing with the NEXTGEN images, the first one shows but second tab doesnt show the second image. Is there a way to fix this?:

    Hi ozgurpolat,

No, not that I know of unfortunately. The javascript gets a bit funky when used in combination with iframes and other shortcode content.

What you could try doing is generating the html from the shortcode and then copying the shortcode html to the Text tab and filling in the tab content with the shortcodes there. Not sure if this will do it but it may cut out the middleman of generating it at the same time as the shortcode code.

    Regards,

    Devin

Hi Devin, if I understand you correctly, I have to first generate the html I guess I would have to visit the page and read the source code, and take out the bit where the tab code html is and put it into the post text as an html. Is that right?

    Hi,

Yes, I think that is what Devin is trying to imply. Copy the html codes the shortcodes render then use it instead of the actual shortcode.

I tried this but it did not wok unfortunately, right now I don’t have time, but maybe I will work on this later and try to get it work. Thanks for your help.

It was worth a try. The tabs can be a bit funky when using iframes with lots of scripts getting loaded in so its usually best to find an alternative layout option.

I have just learned something today, maybe it is not possible to insert maps but you can certainly insert images using [gallery include="1" size="medium" link="file"], in case anyone wants to use it. You need to find out the id of the image and it doesn’t need to be attached to the current post. You can use images from other posts using their ids. Apparently this is quite new in wordpress. In the past you could only display attached images in a particular post.

    Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet

    [gallery include="1" size="medium" link="file"]

    [/tab]

    [tab title=’Tab2′]

Ur adipisicing elit, sed do eiusmod

    [gallery include="2" size="medium" link="file"]

    [/tab]

    [tab title=’Tab3′]

Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet, consectetur

    [gallery include="3" size="medium" link="file"]

    [/tab]

    [/tab_container]

    Hey!

Yes – this feature was introduced in WordPress 3.5 :)

    Best regards,

    Peter
