Read again : <<The uploaded file exceeds the upload_max_filesize directive>> !
And now upload with FTP to your file manager and activate from wp admin!
Hi, I have the same problem.
I'm trying to install the Flashlight theme. When uploading it I get the message
"The uploaded file exceeds the upload_max_filesize directive in php.ini."
I've created a php.ini file in my wp-admin folder as recommended in this support
"http://wptheming.com/2009/07/upload_max_filesize/"
but I still get the same error message.
I've uploaded the theme to the wp-content folder and now at the bottom of my list of installed themes I get this message
"Broken Themes
The following themes are installed but incomplete. Themes must have a stylesheet and a template.
Name Description
flashlight Stylesheet is missing."
I'm running WP version 3.3.1 on my wamp localhost.
Can you give me any advice on this please.
Thanks in advance.
Hey,
1) Unpack the themforest package. You'll get a folder which contains another zip file (flashlight.zip). Unzip this file too. You should now have a folder which contains the theme files - the folder is called "flashlight" by default.
2) Use a ftp client like filezilla to access your server directories. Navigate to wp-content/themes and upload the flashlight folder into the themes folder.
