    Hello,
I have been searching the forum for solutions to implement google custom search with enfold. I do not need the AJAY Icon Search in the top menu bar, But I would like to have a search field in the sidebar.
So far, I installed the plugin Google CSE and set it up correctly. What do I have to do on your end now to make it work?

Also, I want to display the images of google and I want to use cse_img; ?>” /> in search php. but so far there is not img src that I could define…

    Hey gentlemansgazette!

As far as I know there isn’t anything you would need to do if you are only adding in the widget. The search would replace the default search function and then output the results.

If the plugins documentation has more specific directions or says that you need to do something further that would be the next step.

    Best regards,
    Devin

If I just copy and paste the code from Google and post it in the text field of a widget, it does not work right now.

    Hey!

Did you enter you API Key and Engine ID?

Enter and save your Google API key and Google Custom Search Engine ID.

    Best regards,
    Josue

    Yes, I did so correctly.

You can check to see if its a theme conflict by switching to either Twenty Twelve or Twenty Thirteen. If you can be a bit more specific on what isn’t working that would be helpful too.
