Im trying to integrate the social plugin produced by mailchimp and im not having any luck, it doesnt display propertly, and ive been tweaking the padding with no luck. The plugin is http://blog.mailchimp.com/introducing-social-a-wordpress-plugin/ and on the wordpress site http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/social/ and my site is http://www.theliverpoolview.com
I would appreciate any help you are able to provide.
to be honest never used this plugin myself and I can’t provide useful tips here. Hopefully another user can provide some hints.
Would you be open to paid integration? I really like the plugin, and i think it would offer my blog a lot.
Yes – I can help you with the plugin integration (on a freelancer basis). That said Ijust tested the plugin and it displays/works fine for me here. I have’t tested the facebook/twitter comments but the standard comments and the comments section / form displays fine. It looks like the sreenshots: http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/social/screenshots/ present it.
This is what it looks like with the Social plugin active on the site using the latest Firefox, similar results in Chrome and i havent bothered checking IE
You’ll notice the comment section goes of the borderline etc
just to emphasize, this is what the comment section looks like normally.
What would you charge me to integrate the plugin into the site and to the same quality as the rest of the site?
Can you create me an admin account and send me the login data to: firstname.lastname@example.org – I’ll look into it and if I can help you I’ll make a quote. I can’t reproduce the error (with or without related post section, with or without twitter, etc.).
Hi Dude, ive mailed you the username and password earlier this evening let me know if you have any other questions
