Can anyone explain how to get the rectangle “text box” from the upScale demo site’s home page. It has the words “Welcome to the upScale theme demo! this is a dynamic element!.”
How do I get that feature exactly as it’s shown? I can put words in the general area, but the box looks nice and clean.
it’s the cryout text feature. Go to a post or page and click on “Edit Post/Page”. On the editor page you’ll see an option field called “Top Callout”. Select “Yes” in the dropdown and enter a title, etc. and the box will appear like in the demo :)
If you can’t see the option field you need to activate it (Screen Options tab at the right top).
Thank you for the replies, but this does not seem to work. The Top Callout feature seems to do nothing. Is there some other “thing” that I have to activate in order for it to work?
Can you create me an admin account and send me the login data to: (Email address hidden if logged out) – I’ll look into it.
Just sent you an email regarding the same issue with my admin account info. Thanks!
I’m just beginning my site creation process and I have a similar problem however I have the Callout and would like to keep it I just want to edit it. However, its on a phantom page I can’t seem to find (http://millionairesocietyreviews.org/?page_id=335)?? Please help.
It should be on whichever page you have designated as the homepage in your theme options.
Thanks Devin. Although I found it in the “template builder” separate from any page or post.
