    We use enfold portfolio to show our videos. All works fine but when we use it with an iPad 1 (iOS 5.1.1) and press “portfolio” the Safari browser just crushes and we have restart the browser.

    Any idea, what this could be?

    Hey PeterPan2!

    Older iPads and iPads in general will close out safari if the current process will take to long to complete. So you would need to reduce the number of portfolio items shown to put less strain on the hardware.

    Hi Devin,

    you are right… on iPad 3 all works fine.
    Do you think, if we turn off the animation would also help?
    If yes, how should we do this?

    Hi!

    I don’t think so, because it’s about the load of items rather than animation, you could try paginate your portfolio to reduce the number of items shown.
