    Here’s how I need to do an accordion with a big number, title & short description in closed state.
    The content in expanded state is pretty straight forward.

    Anyone an idea how to approach this best – ideally with only custom css?
    Any definite dealbreakers in there that make this impossible without hacks?

    Hey hansmeiser!

    It might be possible by using the pseudo selecter ::before or ::after to add additional content. It’s still going to take quite a bit of CSS work though to get them to behave like that so it would have to be considered custom work. It would be best to hire a freelancer to help you out with this customization.
